Close Link or Delete from History?

Close Link ends access to a Heritage Export; Delete from History removes the record from your list and is not a substitute for closing access.

Overview

A share link has an access state and a history record. These serve different purposes.

1Choose Close Link when recipients should no longer open the export.
2Confirm the link is shown as closed.
3Use Delete from History only when you also want to remove its record from your view.
4Keep your downloaded copy separately if it matters to you.
