Sharing & Permissions

Memory privacy and ownership

Your memories remain controlled by their owner, and access is limited by signed-in identity, family roles and explicit shares.

Overview

Adding a memory does not make the private Vault public. Sharing creates a particular path for particular content rather than transferring the source record.

How it works

  1. 1Review who owns the memory and which family members have access.
  2. 2Use an explicit share or product link only for content you intend to reveal.
  3. 3Add a password or expiry where that share supports them.
  4. 4Revoke or close access when it is no longer needed.
